Pigs in a Blanket

Ingredients:
- 1 tube crescent rolls
- 1 package mini cocktail franks
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 tablespoon water
- sharp white cheddar cheese, cut into tiny cubes, optional
- sesame seeds, optional
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- Make the eggwash by adding the water to the beaten egg.
- On a lightly floured surface, unroll crescent rolls and tear where perforated. With a pizza cutter or knife, cut each triangle into three.
- Place one cocktail weiner on the thicker side of the triangle and roll. If making the cheese version make an excision in the weiner lengthwise and place a cheese cube inside the weiner. Roll the same way.
- Place the pigs in a blanket on the baking sheet, brush with the egg wash, and sprinkle sesame seeds, if desired.
- Bake for 15 to 17 minutes or until golden brown.
