Learn how to make simple and delicious crepes in just minutes. It's made with ingredients that you might already have on hand, and it sure will become a family favorite.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted (plus extra to butter the pan)
- 3 large eggs OR 2 extra-large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions:
- Add all of the ingredients into the blender. If you don't have a blender, you could always use a whisk and a bowl to mix, but a blender will give you a smoother consistency.
- Let the batter rest for at least 15-20 minutes or use right away. The longer it rests, the more the flavors will intensify, and you will end up with a tastier crepe.
- Preheat a 10-inch skillet over medium heat and add a dab of butter.
- Using a 1/4 cup measuring cup, add the batter into the pan, swirling it around in a circular motion coating the surface completely. Cook until the edges develop a beautiful golden brown color, approximately 30 seconds, flip and cook the other side for 30 more seconds. Repeat the process for the remaining batter.
- Serve immediately with your favorite fillings and toppings!
Notes:
This recipe can be used for sweet and savory crepes alike, just omit the vanilla if using for savory crepes.
The batter can be made the night before and use in the morning. It can be kept in the fridge for up to 4 days.

For making crepes, mix together equal amounts (by weight) of milk and egg, and half that amount (by weight) of flour. Add some salt, sugar if you want, and possibly vanilla too, and then heat up a pan on medium-low. Lightly grease the pan, then pour some batter onto the pan (perhaps 1-3 tbsp for one) and spread it out with a spoon. Flip after 1 min.
